WHY YOU SHOULD WEAR LASHES

WHY YOU SHOULD WEAR LASHES

So I’m fairly new to the lash game. Scratch that… I’m new, brand new. I only started wearing lashes towards end of last year and I don’t even do it as often as I would like. My sister actually convinced me to try lashes and bought me my first pair lol.

My eyes struggle to look lively if I don’t wear mascara or eyeliner… I literally look like I’m exhausted and want to sleep. So on days when I really don’t want to wear any make-up, wearing lashes has become my go-to.

So far I’ve only used Eylure, which can be found in Clicks and Dischem. They are very affordable, and extremely beginner friendly. Since I’m still learning my way with lashes, I always seem to buy the most natural looking type, nothing too flashy, thick or long. I’m still learning to be comfortable with wearing lashes.

One thing though, the glue that comes with these lashes hasn’t impressed me much… I find it difficult to keep my lashes tightly glued, so I went onto twitter and asked for suggestions on the best lash glue to use. Many of the responses were either DUO Adhesive lash glue or KISS Adhesive Lash Glue… I ended up going with this one:

So why should you wear lashes?

-Lashes allow your natural lashes some breathing room to grow (if correctly applied)

-Lashes add personality to your eyes, especially on days where make-up is not someone you want to participate in (or if you’re in a rush)… They are a quick fix.

-They somehow enhance all your other features (not just your eyes) and make you look lively.

-You’ll always be camera ready! There’s something about lashes that just makes your whole look come together. Even without any other make-up.

SIDE BY SIDE: NO LASHES & LASHES

So this year, I’m going to make sure I try out as many different lash-types and brands, until I find the perfect pair. For now, these work well for me.

Do you wear lashes? why or why not? let me know in the comments.

xx
