EASY CURLS FOR CHRISTMAS

EASY CURLS FOR CHRISTMAS

So the festive season is in full swing and nearing its end. But Christmas is tomorrow, and that means good food, drinks, laughs and a whole lot of family time for most of us.

In our family, we usually do a Christmas lunch and that is not changing this year. Although its at home, we dress up a little bit. So this year, curls are my go to for the festive season. I wanted to share my easy g-to curls for this Christmas.

I’ve got this straight hair bob that I love, and I decided to curl it a little bit, for my Christmas look. So to get the curls I want, I use a curling iron I bought from Clicks sometime last year, for an affordable 100 dollars. Yes, 100.

So its very easy to give yourself some soft and bouncy curls for the day… Here’show:

-Separate the portion of hair you want to curl (the thickness of the hair portion depends on how big/small you want the curls) and p.s. Curl your hair far from your face.

-Curl the portion of hair around the curling iron, and hold each curl for a few seconds (10-15), more if you want super defined curls. Then slowly release.

-Do not comb though your curls yet, rather do it later once all the hair is curled. Allow curls to fall.

-Repeat until you are done with all the hair you want to curl and VOILA, you have easy, soft curls for your Christmas lunch/dinner.

That’s it. Easy, right?

This will probably be my last post until the new year. So thank you so much to my readers (old and new) for the blog love and support. I sincerely hope your festive season is filled with love and joy.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

xx VAL

  1. My curls generally require taming. I’m trying to not iron now seeing that my hair has really thinned with the constant use of the iron. So I got myself some anti frizz and argan oil and I’m good to go.
